Graduation Day!
Isie’s six years at Riker Hill Elementary School have officially concluded, marked by memories of remote learning during COVID, annual field trips to museums and science centers, early mornings for the GT programs, performing and composing for the school band, and friendships that will last a lifetime.
She was honored with the Outstanding Academic Excellence Award from the President’s Education Awards Program, accompanied by a certificate signed by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the President. A letter from President Donald Trump noted, “…this award has honored students who have exhibited exceptional work ethic and determination… hard work is rewarded and the enormous potential of our students is unlocked.”
Isie also received the Enthusiastic Reader Award from Riker Hill Elementary for “displaying enthusiasm and dedication to literacy.” Her passion for reading — a constant companion throughout her school years — will continue to open new doors of learning and imagination.
Congratulations Isie! As you step into middle school, remember that every challenge is an opportunity, every question is a doorway, and every effort you make shapes the person you are becoming. Keep your mind open, your heart brave, and your dreams big — the world is waiting for you.

Isabelle has just won the President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) - Silver, in recognition to her 52 hours of volunteer service in the year of 2023-2024, primarily through her dance performances in the NY/NJ communities.
Along with the award certificate, she received a letter from the White House, signed by President Joe Biden. The letter begins, "The American story depends not only on any one of us, not on some of us, but on all of us. I congratulate you on taking it upon yourself to contribute to the public good, ..."
Congratulations Isie!
