Dance

Isie began learning dance at the age of 4 at FA Dance Academy, founded by professional dancer and choreographer Ms Ying Shi. Isie has studied various forms of dance, including Chinese ethnic and classical dances, as well as contemporary and jazz. Her favorite is Chinese ethnic dance, which connects her to the rich roots of Chinese culture and its ethnic diversity. Isie performed in both small and large groups, where she has practiced, performed and competed alongside her teammates with whom she had built strong friendships. In addition to the numerous national and international dance competitions, her dance groups have also performed at countless community culture events in the great New York area over the years.

News! Isabelle has just won the President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) - Silver, in recognition to her 52 hours of volunteer service in the year of 2023-2024, primarily through her dance performances in the NY/NJ communities.

Along with the award certificate, she received a letter from the White House, signed by President Joe Biden. The letter begins, "The American story depends not only on any one of us, not on some of us, but on all of us. I congratulate you on taking it upon yourself to contribute to the public good, ..."
